Whilst this was presented specifically for Kings College Hospital staff during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, there is key learning for all of us working/volunteering in Bromley about domestic abuse risks, and the concerning number of deaths by suicide where domestic abuse was a factor. Minutes 0-43 are suitable for all partners; From minute 43 onwards, this video is for Kings' staff.
Vaping and its impact on young people - Lunchtime Learning
In this July 2024 lunchtime learning session, hear from two of local experts. Firstly, Mira a Respiratory Specialist Nurse at Kings College Hospital speaking about vaping, the latest research on vapes and their impact on adolescents and non-smokers. The second speaker is Bex from Bromley Changes highlighting how vapes are being used locally for substance misuse and what young people need to be aware of.

Training video for use by children's workforce
Jim Gamble's 17 minute video presentation for MAPE can now be used by the children's workforce in team meetings across the partnership to share the messages from the BSCP in a dynamic, interactive way. Topics covered include exploitation, the role of the BSCP, sharing of self-generated sexual images, trusted adults, early help and early intervention, information sharing, professional curiosity and challenge.
