Governance and Structure
From effect 1st September 2019:
Bromley has put in place multi agency partnership arrangements in response to the Children and Social Work Act 2017 and Working Together 2018 which replace Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCB) with new local multi-agency safeguarding partnership arrangements. Our safeguarding partnership arrangements have been improved to form the new Bromley Safeguarding Children Partnership (BSCP) and its sub-groups. Details of these arrangements, including the subgroups, can be found in the document below.
The safeguarding partnership is held accountable by the Safeguarding Children’s Partnership Executive (BSCPE) which is formed of the three statutory Safeguarding Partners: the police; the local authority; and the Integrated Commissioning Board (Health). The Board and each subgroup meets four times a year and the Executive meets twice a year, with extraordinary meetings when required.
